Merry Christmas from Jason and Sue!

Dear Friends,

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.   Isaiah 60:1-3

Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.  Luke 4:21

According to Henry Drummond, this is the Program of Christianity.  Upon reading Jesus message our hearts rejoice in their personal application even as we look around and see cause for despair in the great need and work that is yet to be accomplished.  Let's join hands as we proclaim the Gospel of hope and do the work of salvation.

Christ Jesus is born - Emanuel, God with us.

Joy to the World!

As we write this Sue's father, Reuben Goertz (83) is in the ICU in Tulsa with several of his organs faltering. Please pray for him and the entire family. In the midst of this worry, we are excited as we count the days until Roy, Sam and Heidi come home to Cologne for the holidays. It has been 2 years since we last saw Sam and Heidi.

Thank you so much for standing with us as you pray and give.

finding hope in the Savior,
Jason and Sue
